The governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, known as the PDP Governors’ Forum, are currently meeting with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, in his office in Abuja.
The governors were led by the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Muhammed.
He was accompanied by Governors Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), Caleb Muftwang (Plateau), and Agbu Kefas (Taraba).
Wike, thereafter, led the governors in for a closed-door meeting after they arrived in his office.
It was gathered that the governors are meeting with Wike following the move by the members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to impeach the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Wike is the immediate past governor of Rivers State.
