FULL LIST: Gaise Baba’s video tops Nigeria’s YouTube music chart in 2025

YouTube has announced that ‘No Turning Back II’ by gospel singer Gaise Baba, featuring Pastor Lawrence Oyor, has become Nigeria’s most-watched music video in 2025.

The song, which gained massive traction within the Christian community, garnered 41 million views in just six months.

It also attracted 397,000 likes and over 22,000 comments.

Reacting to the achievement via a post on Instagram, Gaise Baba thanked his collaborators and described the milestone as a testament to their obedience and cultural influence.

“Big shout out to pastor Lawrence Oyor and that warrior congregation of David Generation Church. See what the Lord has done with our simple obedience. Truly, we shift the culture,” the singer wrote.

Nigerians spent over 1.3bn hours on Spotify in 2025

Shallipopi’s ‘Laho’ ranked second on the chart, while Davido and Omah Lay’s joint video ‘With You’ took the third spot.

In the creators’ category, actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli was named Nigeria’s top creator channel for 2025.
