Full list: Tems emerges first female Nigerian singer to win Grammy award

Temilade Openiyi, well known as Tems, on Sunday, became the first female Nigerian singer to win a Grammy award.

Tems made history after winning the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.

Meanwhile, Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, lost the ‘Best Global Music Album’ and the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ categories.
