He expressed confidence that the lawmaker representing Borno Central senatorial district in the Senate and a two-term former governor of Borno State was “a good choice capable of working with the presidential candidate to take Nigeria to greater heights”.

The governor further commended the APC presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for choosing Shettima as his running mate, describing the combination as an assurance for the success of the party at the polls.

Governor Ganduje, however, called on Nigerians, particularly members of the APC to rally round its presidential candidate and his running mate to ensure the party’s success.
