General Musa takes oath as defence minister

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in General Christopher Musa (retd.) as the new Minister of Defence.

Musa, the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), took the oath of office at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

2027: Obi faults Tinubu’s alleged distribution of campaign vehicles

This follows his confirmation as a minister by the Senate on Wednesday.
