Glo unveils free resource downloads, CUG lines at KWASU

Telecommunications giant, Globacom, has launched Gloshare and a dedicated Mobile Community Plan for the students of Kwara State University (KWASU) to enhance digital learning and campus connectivity.

The innovative solutions were designed to provide students with free access to academic resources and foster seamless communication across the university community.

Speaking at the event held at the KWASU campus in the Malete area of Kwara State, the Enterprise South West Regional Head of Globacom, Adewale Adiatu, introduced Gloshare as a digital platform that enables students to access the university portal and download educational materials with no data usage required.

“We also have the Closed User Group (CUG) lines, which make it possible for everyone within the KWASU community to connect on the same platform. Students and staff can interact freely using their CUG lines,” Adiatu stated.

The Enterprise National Vertical Head of Glo Enterprise Sales, Adeniyi Odejobi, disclosed that multiple network sites have been installed on campus, with additional sites nearly completed – all aimed at ensuring seamless performance of both Gloshare and the CUG services.

In his remarks, the President of the KWASU Student Union Government, Abdulafeez Kewulere, expressed gratitude to Globacom for choosing the university as the first beneficiary of the Gloshare service.
