The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has expressed profound condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Mr. Yakubu Mohammed, the esteemed journalist and co-founder of Newswatch magazine, who passed away at the age of 75.
In a statement signed by GOCOP President Danlami Nmodu, mni, and General Secretary Sufuyan Ojeifo, the guild described Mohammed’s death as a major loss to both the media industry and the nation.
