Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru-Bago has terminated the appointments of all his special sdvisers as part of efforts to restructure governance in the state.
Bago announced this during the maiden State Executive Council meeting with the newly sworn-in Commissioners in Minna, the capital of Niger State, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
The governor explained that the decision was aimed at rejigging the advisers’ portfolios to enhance effectiveness and efficiency in line with his New Niger Agenda.
Bago expressed appreciation to the affected advisers for their sacrifices and contributions to the success of his administration and wished them well in their future endeavours.
