The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), on Wednesday night, met in Abuja to discuss the ongoing Constitution amendment and stamp duty.
It was gathered that the meeting, led by NGF Chairman and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, aimed to address pressing national issues.
According to the 11th physical meeting agenda, the governors received a presentation from Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, who chairs the Constitution Review Committee.
Other agenda items included updates on the reconciliation of the Excess Crude Account (ECA), Petroleum Profit Taxes (PPT), and Royalties accounts, as well as the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) Market Days 2024 in Morocco.
The Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, was also expected to make a presentation during the meeting.
Several governors in attendance were Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), and Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), among others.
