Gunmen have kidnapped Richard Omosehin, a former aide of Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
It was gathered that Omosehin was abducted by the gunmen at his residence in Igbekebo, the headquarters of the Ese- Odo Local Government Area of the state on Saturday.
A resident of the community disclosed that the governor’s former aide was abducted via a speed boat at about 2 a.m. on Saturday.
Confirming the incident, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami, said policemen have been deployed to the area to rescue Omosehin and arrest his abductors.
