Gunmen attack police checkpoint in Enugu, kill 2 officers

Gunmen have reportedly attacked a police checkpoint in Enugu State and killed no fewer than two police officers.

It was gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday around the Police Area Command/Agbani Police Division in Enugu State.

It was further learned that the gunmen, who operated in a vehicle, stormed the checkpoint and opened fire on the policemen.
