Gunmen kidnap Nasarawa deputy gov’s driver

Gunmen have abducted Daniel Ogoshi, the driver of the deputy governor of Nasarawa State, Dr Emmanuel Akabe.

It was gathered that Ogoshi was kidnapped following an attack on the residence of his friend in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18.

A family friend of the victim, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that he received a call at about 9 p.m. that his brother was abducted by gunmen.

The incident was also confirmed by the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, noting efforts were ongoing to rescue the driver of the deputy governor.
