Suspected gunmen have reportedly invaded a government-owned hospital in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, abducting six workers on duty.
It was gathered that the incident occurred at a Primary Health Centre located in the Oke Ijebu area of Akure, directly opposite Mega School, at about 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
Some residents of the area disclosed that the gunmen stormed the facility in a large bus, forcefully gaining entry before abducting the workers on duty.

A patient at the centre, who spoke on condition of anonymity, disclosed that the assailants took away six staff members, including some interns, without resistance.
