A female pilgrim from Kaduna State, Asma’u Muhammad-Ladan, has been confirmed dead at the King Fahad Hospital in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
It was gathered that the pilgrim died after a brief illness on Friday, June 14, 2024.
Her demise was confirmed in a statement issued by the spokesman for the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Yunusa Abdullahi, on Saturday, June 15.

Abdullahi, who did not disclose the pilgrim’s local government of origin, said the deceased was registered at the headquarters of the agency.
He said the family of the late pilgrim had been notified, adding that the management and staff of the agency commiserated with them over the incident.
