Governor Uba Sani
The Kaduna State Head of Service, Mrs. Jummai Bako, has applauded Governor Uba Sani for approving and implementing the Consolidated Polytechnics and Colleges of Education Academic Staff Salary Structure (CONPCASS) and the Consolidated Tertiary Institutions Salary Structure (CONTEDISS) for staff of state-owned tertiary institutions.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mrs. Bako described the salary adjustment as a major milestone in the administration’s commitment to staff welfare and educational reform.
She noted that employees of state-owned institutions have already begun receiving their new salary alerts, adding that the increase would significantly boost staff morale.
“The entire workforce extends heartfelt gratitude to the Governor for his visionary leadership, responsive governance, and fulfillment of promises made to the academic community,” she said.
According to her, the Governor’s decision reflects integrity, empathy, and dedication to good governance and social justice.
She urged the benefitting staff to reciprocate the gesture through improved productivity and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
It would be recalled that Governor Uba Sani recently approved the implementation of 70 percent of the 2024 CONPCASS/CONTEDISS salary structure, effective October 2025.
Union leaders in a joint statement also commended the Governor’s listening leadership and commitment to workers’ welfare and educational advancement in Kaduna State.
