Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, was reportedly arrested in London following a heated confrontation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The incident, which occurred upon their arrival in the United Kingdom for a concert tour, was confirmed by the singer’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe.
Speculation began after 2Baba failed to appear at a scheduled show on October 2, 2025, with rumours suggesting he had been detained.
Natasha, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, was said to have engaged the singer in a quarrel shortly after they landed.
Kaka—who is also the son of late music icon Christy Essien-Igbokwe—validated the reports during an Instagram Live session with media personality Daddy Freeze on Monday.
He disclosed that he was on the same flight and part of the team receiving 2Baba in London.
According to him, the misunderstanding began when Natasha felt abandoned after 2Baba walked ahead with fans who ushered him into a shop upon arrival.
Realising she had been left behind, she confronted the singer, leading to a heated exchange that escalated to the point of his arrest and handcuffing by authorities.
A video showing the moment of 2Baba’s arrest—shared by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025—has since gone viral and sparked renewed public debate over the couple’s clash.
