A 30-year-old graduate of Economics with a National Certificate of Education, Oluwatosin Adejumo, has shared how she landed a job as a chef at the Osun State Government House through Governor Ademola Adeleke.

In an interview, Adejumo explained that after losing her mother, she struggled to further her education.

She later found support in a caterer, Mrs. Funmilayo Grace, whom she often assisted.

With savings and credit support from suppliers, she eventually started a puff-puff business to make ends meet.

Her breakthrough came during a solidarity walk when Governor Adeleke noticed her while she was selling puff-puff and hailing him along with others.

The governor reportedly bought all her snacks, gave her N50,000, and inquired about her academic background.

“When I told him I was a graduate, he handed me over to a commissioner and announced that I would no longer depend on puff-puff sales.

“That was how I got appointed as a chef at the Government House,” Adejumo said.
