In politics Tinubu is my teacher, says APC national chairman Yilwatda

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, was recently honored with the traditional title of “Kaeh-rit” (meaning “the good seed of Ampang East”) in Plateau State.

Speaking after the ceremony in Kanke Local Government Area on Saturday, Yilwatda said he is learning politics from President Bola Tinubu, whom he described as “one of the best politicians you can learn from.”

He added that since Tinubu adopted him as his son, he has learned a lot from him.

Yilwatda said if he succeeds, it would be because he is learning from “the very best politician ever produced in Nigeria.”

He also donated ₦10 million, seedlings and other farm inputs to farmers in Kanke to support food security, aligning with President Tinubu’s efforts to boost food production and reduce poverty.

Yilwatda expressed optimism about Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s recent defection to the APC, saying Plateau State would benefit from having both government and party under one political platform.

He emphasized that the APC’s membership policy treats all members equally, regardless of how long they have been in the party.
