inDrive rewards ‘Super Mum’ driver with new car

Ride-hailing company inDrive has rewarded one of its drivers, Felicity Eseke, with a brand-new Wuling XC250 2025 for her dedication to providing for her family and supporting the education of her five children.

The car was presented to Eseke at a ceremony held at Ikeja City Mall, Lagos, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the presence of content creator Akinyemi Oluwaseun, popularly known as Asherkine, fellow inDrive drivers and other well-wishers.

Eseke’s story came to the attention of inDrive after her daughter, Louisa, contacted the company to highlight her mother’s sacrifices, resilience and commitment to her family.

According to the company, Eseke has been driving on the inDrive platform for five years and has completed more than 2,766 rides.

The company said her earnings from driving had enabled her to provide for her family and keep all five of her children in school, describing her journey as an example of determination and perseverance.

Speaking at the presentation, inDrive Nigeria Country Manager, Timothy Oladimeji, said the company decided to recognise Eseke to celebrate the personal stories and sacrifices behind its community of drivers.

“Eseke’s story represents determination, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to her children. She reminds us that behind every trip is a person with a dream, a family, and a reason to keep going,” Oladimeji said.

He added that the company was proud to honour her for the journey she had undertaken in supporting her children.

Eseke expressed appreciation to inDrive for the recognition, saying the platform had provided her with an opportunity to earn a living and cater for her family.

“I am really grateful to inDrive for recognising and celebrating me. I am equally excited about inDrive for creating a platform that allows me to earn a livelihood. I see this gift as a big reward for the hard work,” she said.
