The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented a certificate of return to governor-elect of Osun State and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sen. Ademola Adeleke.
The certificate was presented to Adeleke on Wednesday by the INEC National Commissioner, Supervising Osun, Ogun and Oyo states, Prof. Kunle Ajayi.
The presentation was held at the INEC office in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
Adeleke polled 403,371 votes to defeat the incumbent governor of Osun State and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gboyega Oyetola, in the governorship election held in the state last Saturday.
