‘Influencer, pant washer’: Wizkid, Davido trade words on X

Popular Nigerian singers Wizkid and Davido, on Monday night, engaged in a war of words on X (formerly Twitter).

The drama started in the early hours of Monday, April 29, 2024, after Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid described music producer Don Jazzy as an “influencer”.

The famous singer also mocked Davido for his recently viral video where he was seen begging and crying after a fan asked him to release new music.

The singer’s posts attracted criticism from a segment of social media users, including celebrities.

However, Davido, in a series of tweets on Monday evening, lashed out at Wizkid.

He wrote: “Dem no know ur gbedu again 😂

“When LIGHT comes darkness VANISHES!!! LETS GET ACTIVE!!

“I can’t wait till 20 years from now 😂 … enjoy ur time.
