The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party the winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke defeated his closest rival, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, after polling 511,067 votes in the election.
The APC candidate garnered 444,815 votes, while the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, secured 17,180 votes.
With the final result, Adeleke won the election by a margin of 66,252 votes over Oyebamiji, earning another term as governor of Osun State following the conclusion of the statewide collation by INEC.
