The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Thursday, April 16, will receive their results before midnight on Friday, April 17.

The Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement shared on X, noting that an official announcement would be made once the results are released.

He urged candidates who participated on the first day of the examination to expect their results before the end of the day.

According to him, the Board will also publish the update on its official platforms immediately the results become available.

The 2026 UTME commenced on April 16 and is currently ongoing nationwide.

The exercise is scheduled to run until April 22, with over 2.2 million candidates expected to sit for the examination across about 966 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
