A versatile journalist, Donald Ojogo, has won a seat in the House of Representatives.
Ojogo, the immediate past Information Commissioner in Ondo State, has been declared the winner of the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
He defeated an incumbent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Kolade Akinjo, who is seeking a third term.
Ojogo of the APC polled 26,306 votes against Akinjo’s 22,390.
Ojogo had stint with Nigerian Tribune, Daily Independent, Telegraph and other newspapers.
