The management of Realnews Magazine and Publications Limited has announced that Honourable Justice Ayotunde Phillips, former Chief Judge of Lagos State, will chair the Realnews 13th Anniversary Lecture scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
Themed “Cybersecurity, Illicit Financial Flows and Achieving Agenda 2063 in Africa,” the lecture will begin at 10 a.m. and will feature Justice Phillips as both chairperson and moderator of the panel session.
In a message confirming her acceptance to chair the event, Justice Phillips said, “It is my honour to chair such a distinguished event.”
Justice Phillips, who retired as the 14th Chief Judge of Lagos State after 38 years of service, also served as Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
She currently sits on several national and international judicial and arbitration bodies, including the FIFA Ethics Committee, where she serves as a member of the Adjudicatory Chamber.
The Realnews Anniversary Lecture Series, established to foster discourse on national development, has over the years featured prominent speakers, including Ambassador Professor Ibrahim Gambari, Dr. Edwin W. Harris Jr., Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa, and Dr. Oby Ezekwesili.
