K1 to Tinubu: Nigerians are suffering, find solution to our woes

Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has lamented the economic hardship in the country, saying Nigerians are suffering.

K1, who said Nigerians are angry with President Bola Tinubu-led government due to the hardship, called on the former Lagos State Governor to, as a matter of urgency, address the various challenges, including insecurity and the depreciation of the naira, bedevilling the country.

The popular musician, who is a well-known supporter of Tinubu, said this at one of his recent stage performances.

He said: “President Tinubu, I greet you. My fellow Nigerians I greet you. People are saying I sang in support of my boss Tinubu if elected president of Nigeria, citizens will be blessed. They said people who do not have will have money. People seeking God’s face will see him. I indeed believe that Asiwaju will do it.

“Akambi, my boss, listen to the people. Citizens are getting angry please find a solution to this. The cost of fuel and dollar exchange rate and its scarcity. People’s salaries are not enough for them to feed. And I know that Asiwaju my boss will have mercy.

“People are crying, and weeping while they still lack an adequate supply of electricity. How did we get to the point where they are kidnapping people?

“Tinubu, you already have everything before taking up the presidential post. You people aiming to disrupt this government go and find somewhere to hide yourselves. Listen to what the citizens are saying. Nigerians are getting angry including businessmen and professionals.”

K1, however, urged Nigerians to be patient with Tinubu, assuring the citizens that the latter’s government will resolve all the challenges facing the country.

“I pleaded with you our citizens let us be patient. Tinubu will resolve everything on ground,” he added.
