“The attention of the Kaduna State Government has been drawn to a misleading message circulating on social media alleging that Governor Uba Sani has endorsed certain aspirants for elective positions. This claim is entirely false and should be disregarded,” the statement said.

According to him, the governor remains committed to democratic principles and believes that candidates should emerge through transparent and constitutionally established party processes involving members and stakeholders.

The commissioner added that Governor Sani is currently focused on governance and the implementation of policies aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Kaduna State, rather than engaging in premature political endorsements.

He also warned individuals and groups against spreading fake news and politically motivated misinformation, noting that such actions could create unnecessary political tension and mislead the public.

Maiyaki urged political actors, supporters, and the general public to always verify information from credible and official sources before sharing it.

He reaffirmed that Governor Sani will continue to respect the democratic rights of aspirants and party members while ensuring that due process and the rule of law guide political activities in the state.
