The Kaduna State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Ahmad Maiyaki, made this known in Kaduna on Tuesday, October 20.

Maiyaki said Governor Uba Sani had constituted a 12-subcommittee local organising committee to complement the Presidential Campaign Council’s in preparations for the event.

Maiyaki said the committee, chaired by the deputy governor, comprised key political stakeholders and prominent indigenes tasked with ensuring a hitch-free event.

According to him, the upgraded Township Stadium will host the event, while Murtala Square will serve as the designated parking area.

He said arrangements had also been made for emergency medical services, media accreditation, traffic management and crowd control.

Maiyaki described the event as an opportunity for Kaduna residents to appreciate Tinubu’s contributions to the state’s development.

Maiyaki listed the rehabilitation of the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano dual carriageway and the proposed N1 trillion Kaduna light rail project among major federal interventions under the Tinubu administration.

Maiyaki disclosed that the state’s skills acquisition centres had trained more than 4,000 people and were designed to train about 32,000 annually.

On security, the commissioner said improved collaboration between the federal government and the state had enhanced movement along major routes and enabled farmers to return to their farms.

Maiyaki also cited federal appointments of Kaduna indigenes to key positions as evidence of the cordial relationship between Tinubu and Sani administration that should be appreciated by the people of Kaduna State.
