The social media personality was arrested by the Kano State Censorship Board after he recorded and shared a comedy skit showing him bathing on a public road while dressed in female undergarments.

The video quickly went viral, sparking outrage among residents.

According to the board’s spokesperson, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, the act was not only offensive to public decency but also violated cultural and Islamic values observed in the state.

The board condemned the video as part of a growing wave of inappropriate behavior among online content creators in Kano.

The board further warned that it will continue to crack down on what it described as “disruptive entertainment disguised as humor,” vowing to take legal action against similar acts of moral misconduct on social media.
