Kano police arrest 2 for robbery of Lil Kesh, recover N2m

The operatives of the Kano State Police Command have apprehended two suspects in connection with the robbery and attempted murder of popular Nigerian singer Keshinro Ololade, well known as Lil Kesh, in Lagos.

The incident occurred in August when the suspects attacked Lil Kesh in an attempt to steal his jewelry in Lagos.

The 30-year-old singer was stabbed in the neck and part of his ear.

However, the police, in a recent statement, confirmed the arrest of the two suspects.

The command disclosed that the suspects, Mathew Adewole and Mukhtar Muhammad, were arrested at Na’ibawa Quarters in Kano.

The police wrote on X: “Kano State Police Command nabs 2 suspects in Na’ibawa Quarters Kano, Mathew Adewole & Mukhtar Muhammad, in connection with armed robbery & attempted murder of Lil-Kesh at Bera Estate, Chevron, Lagos.

“Stolen N2.12m recovered & suspects handed over to Lagos Police for prosecution.”
