Kano tailor begins bid for Guinness World Record in non-stop sewing

A Kano-based tailor, Abdulkadir Hassanul Basari, has begun an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for non-stop sewing.

Basari started the challenge on Wednesday at the sports complex of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria in Kano and is expected to conclude the attempt on Monday night.

The exercise aims to break the existing Guinness World Record for the longest sewing marathon.

If successful, Basari’s attempt could place him among Nigerians seeking global recognition through record-breaking feats.
