No fewer than 34 students of the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil in Kano State have been expelled over their involvement in examination malpractice.
13 students were also rusticated for one academic session, while several others received warning letters for various degrees of misconduct.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday, October 17, 2025, by the Head of Information, Publications and Public Relations Unit of the university, Abdullahi Datti.

Datti said the disciplinary actions were based on the recommendations of the Examinations Regulations and Irregularities Committee, which were approved by the university senate during its 123rd meeting held on October 9, 2025.
According to Datti, the report includes recommendations for different kinds of punishments for students who were found to have engaged in examination malpractice.
He, therefore, reaffirmed the university’s commitment to upholding academic integrity and maintaining zero tolerance for any form of examination misconduct.
