The Katsina State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (KTPCACC) has launched investigations into multiple cases of alleged fraud involving secondary school principals, local government officials and state agencies, with misappropriated funds estimated at ₦188.6 million.

In a statement, the commission said four principals in Danja, Rimaye, Maigora and Kurami are under probe for alleged mismanagement of ₦6.6 million in school funds, while one is accused of illegally selling school property worth millions of naira.

The agency further alleged that councillors and Community Development Officers diverted ₦46 million during the distribution of subsidised fertilizer, while ward officials across Musawa, Malumfashi, Matazu, Faskari and Funtua reportedly pocketed amounts ranging from ₦52,000 to over ₦25 million. Some suspects have admitted guilt and started refunding the money.
