Katsina gov approves N38.5m scholarship for 77 law students

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has approved the release of N38.5 million scholarship to 77 students from the state studying at the Nigerian Law School.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the spokesperson for the Katsina State Scholarship Board, Salisu Lawal-Kerau, on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Lawal-Kerau said the money was the maintenance allowance of the 77 law students for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 academic sessions.

Katsina varsity introduces mass communication, law, other courses

According to him, the gesture is to mitigate the effects of the current economic hardship on the students and to encourage them to concentrate on their studies.

He added that the board has concluded an arrangement for the disbursement of the money to the students.
