The Majority Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Abubakar Mogaji Olawoyin, has been confirmed dead.
Olawoyin’s death was confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Abdulquadri Yusuf, on Monday.
Olawoyin, who represented Ilorin Central Constituency (Mogajin Geri), was said to have died in the early hours of Monday after a brief illness.
Yusuf said Islamic burial rites for the deceased will hold later on Monday at Magajin Geri family house in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
