A member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Mushin constituency II, Sobur Olawale, has died.
It was gathered that Olawale, popularly known as Omititi, died after he slumped at the flag-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign in Jos, the Plateau State capital on Tuesday.
It was further learnt that the lawmaker was rushed to a hospital in Jos where he was confirmed dead.
He died at the age of 58.
Speaking on the death of the lawmaker, the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Lagos State, Seye Oladejo, described the demise of Olawale as a rude shock.

“I’m still confused,” Oladejo said.
Olawale was until his demise the chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Community Relations.
It would be recalled that the Lagos Assembly recently lost one of its members, Tunde Braimoh, who represented Kosofe Constituency II.
Braimoh, until his sudden death was the House Committee Chairman on Information, Security and Strategy.
