Laide Bakare denies throwing shade at Biola Bayo amid divorce

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has refuted claims that she subtly mocked fellow actress Biola Bayo following the latter’s recent announcement of her divorce.

Speculation arose after Laide posted a cryptic message on social media, which some interpreted as a dig at Biola.

However, Laide cleared the air, explaining that she was unaware of Biola’s situation at the time, as she was preoccupied with her daughter’s graduation ceremony in California.

Taking to social media, Laide expressed her support for Biola, referring to her as “sister” and condemning online trolls for spreading false narratives.

“Let us all be guarded, please. It’s still June 5th here in America—California, to be precise.

“I can never shade my own sister @biolabayo. My prayers are with you,” she wrote.

“I didn’t get any updates. I was busy with @simlineboss’ graduation. Trolls are evil.”
