LAIF conference 2025 to celebrate 20 years of African creative excellence

The 2025 Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) Creative Conference is set for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, marking 20 years of creative excellence in Nigeria’s advertising and marketing industry.

Organized by the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), this year’s conference will run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM under the theme “20 Years of Crazy”, bringing together leading voices from Nigeria, Africa, and the global creative industry.

The event will feature keynote presentations, expert panels, and tech-focused discussions on topics including African creativity, cultural storytelling, brand-building, AI, and digital innovation.

Speakers will explore the intersection of advertising with film, entertainment, and global culture, while also addressing the evolving African consumer and opportunities for African brands on the global stage.

The two-day festival will conclude on Sunday, November 30, with the LAIF Awards Ceremony, honoring the nation’s top creative talent in advertising, marketing, and communications.

A highlight of the anniversary edition will be the LAIF Icon Award, celebrating an industry pioneer who has shaped Nigerian advertising over the past two decades.

Commenting ahead of the conference, Mr. Jay Chukwuemeka, Chairman of the LAIF Management Board, said:
“LAIF has evolved into one of the most influential creative festivals in West Africa.

As we celebrate 20 years, we are not only honouring our past but embracing a future defined by innovation, collaboration, and global relevance.”

The LAIF Creative Conference 2025 promises a full day of insights, inspiration, and networking for creatives, marketers, and industry leaders shaping the future of African advertising.
