Leicester City have agreed a fee with Besiktas for Wilfred Ndidi, worth around £8.5 million.

Ndidi has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the Premier League and Europe, including Everton, Fenerbahce, and two clubs in the Bundesliga, after his buy-out clause was reduced following Leicester’s relegation.

But Besiktas manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has convinced the midfielder his future lies in Turkey.

Plans are now in place for Ndidi to fly to Istanbul in the next 24hours to undergo a medical.
