Premier League side Liverpool have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to sign Bradley Barcola for a package worth £120 million.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement on Thursday.
Romano wrote on X: “Liverpool reach verbal agreement to sign Bradley Barcola, HERE WE GO! 🔴
“Initial fee worth £100m plus add-ons — up to €140m possible total package for PSG.
“Documents to be exchanged in 24 hours. #LFC get their top target: never in doubt and now done.”
There had been a gap in valuation between the two clubs throughout the summer, with PSG previously asking for around £145 million for the France international.
The final detail of the proposed deal is still to be agreed but the £120 million fee is understood to now be fixed in place as the value Liverpool will be paying for the 23-year-old.
Should Barcola complete his proposed transfer to Anfield, he would be Liverpool’s second most expensive signing of all time, following the club-record deal to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle for £125 million last summer.

The signing of Barcola would take their overall spend since the end of the 2024/25 season to over £663 million, after also spending £116.5 million on Florian Wirtz as well as signing Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, Victor Munoz, Jeremy Jacquet, Giovanni Leoni, and Jeremie Frimpong.
The latest deal is also expected to allow Cody Gakpoto leave Anfield, with Tottenham and Manchester City both interested in the Dutchman.
Liverpool are also trying to sign a second new winger, with their target currently Crystal Palace’s Ismaila Sarr following difficult negotiations with Brighton for Yankuba Minteh.
