A 30-year-old man, identified as Sanusi Tinau, has reportedly been beaten to death by a husband after he allegedly attempted to entice the man’s wife in Lumbu community, Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The incident was said to have occurred around 2:09 a.m. on Friday when Tinau allegedly visited the suspect’s residence to meet his wife.
Eyewitnesses said the enraged husband descended on Tinau, beating him until he lost consciousness before fleeing the scene.
Police operatives later arrived and rushed the victim to the General Hospital, Ningi, where a medical doctor confirmed him dead.
Authorities said efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspect as investigations continue.
