A 32-year-old man, David Shodola, on Friday, July 21, 2023, beheaded an 84-year-old man, Alfred Opadipe, in Iperu, Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

It was gathered that Shodola also died while violently resisting arrest and attacking police officers with a machete.
