Martins told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence at about 5 a.m. at No 5, Ayeloja Street in the Ikorodu area of Lagos on February 14, 2021.

The presiding judge, Justice Abiola Soladoye, therefore, remanded Monday in Kirikiri Correctional Centre pending the perfection of his bail.

Justice Soladoye adjourned the case until November 9, 2023, for the commencement of trial.
