A man killed several people, including his mother, in a care home in north-eastern Croatia on Monday, July 22, 2024.
Police confirmed the incident in the small town of Daruvar, without offering details on the number of victims.
Media reported that at least five people were killed, including one care worker.
The man is said to have broken into the care home with a weapon and fired it several times.
