Man stabs father over undisclosed dispute in Adamawa

A tragic incident unfolded in Fotta District, Gombi Local Government Area of Adamawa State, where a man, identified as Idi Buba, allegedly stabbed his father, Buba Jelli, to death.

The fatal attack occurred on Monday, following an undisclosed disagreement between the two within their family residence.

Community sources reported that Idi used a knife to inflict deep wounds on his father’s neck and back.

The victim was rushed to the Primary Health Care Centre in Fotta but was confirmed dead shortly after arrival.

Security operatives who responded to the scene recovered a knife believed to have been used in the attack.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the health facility for autopsy, as investigations continue to uncover the motive behind the killing.
