Man Utd agree €70m deal to sign De Ligt, Mazraoui from Bayern Munich

Manchester United have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for the signing of defender Matthijs de Ligt in a deal worth €50 million (€45 million plus €5 million in add-ons).

The transfer is subject to De Ligt passing a medical.

He would need to be registered by midday on Thursday to be available for the opening match against Fulham on Friday night.

In a separate deal, United on Saturday agreed many of the details of a deal for Bayern Munich’s right-back Noussair Mazraoui.

They are expected to proceed with that move once Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s transfer to West Ham United has been completed, according to Sky Sports.

“€45m fixed fee, €5m add-ons and also payment spread over three years.

“Matthijs to sign five year deal plus one year option… as soon as authorized to travel.”

Romano added: “Noussair Mazraoui to Man United, here we go! Green light as planned after Wan-Bissaka’s move to West Ham.

“Mazraoui will cost €20m add-ons included, payment terms favorable as Man United wanted.

“Mazraoui signs five year deal + one more year, negotiated by Rafaela Pimenta.”
