A yet-to-be-ascertained number of people have died after a petrol-laden tanker exploded on Bida-Agaei Expressway in Niger State.

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Niger State, Aishatu Sa’adu, confirmed the explosion.

Sa’adu said the casualty figure could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
