Tens of thousands of Yemenis gathered in the capital, Sanaa, on Friday in a large-scale demonstration to express solidarity with Iran and the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Waving Iranian and Palestinian flags, protesters chanted slogans condemning Israel and the United States, as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
The rally comes in the wake of a full-scale war between Israel and Iran, which began on June 13.
Israeli airstrikes have reportedly targeted Iranian nuclear facilities, military sites, senior commanders, and nuclear scientists.
According to the U.S. based Iranian human rights organization, at least 657 people — including 263 civilians — have been killed in Iran, with over 2,000 others injured.
In response, Iran has launched approximately 450 missiles and 1,000 drones toward Israel, according to the Israeli military.
These attacks have resulted in at least 24 deaths and hundreds of injuries in Israel.
Meanwhile, the ongoing war in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 55,000 Palestinians, primarily women and children, according to figures from the Gaza Health Ministry.
