Minister declares no vacancy in Aso Rock ahead of 2027

The Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahmed, has said that President Bola Tinubu’s position in Aso Rock is secure ahead of the 2027 general elections, declaring that his ongoing reforms and long-term development agenda leave “no vacancy” at the Presidency.

Speaking in Abuja on Thursday during a courtesy visit to the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Prof. Ahmed commended the President for what she described as bold, foundational reforms aimed at addressing the root causes of Nigeria’s challenges.

“President Tinubu is building a permanent foundation for the nation’s growth.

“He has gone beyond quick fixes, tackling the real issues that held us back.

“Our children and grandchildren will thank him for the solid foundation he is laying today.

“That is why, in 2027, there will be no vacancy in Aso Rock,” she stated.

Echoing her remarks, the Director-General of TSG, Umar Tanko Yakasai, dismissed the recently formed opposition coalition as a fragile alliance of politicians with questionable records.

“The coalition is nothing but a pack of dominoes.

“These are the same leaders who misgoverned and looted the nation in the past.

“We are not afraid of them, and if they attempt to rewrite history, we will expose their failures,” Yakasai said.

He insisted that Tinubu’s achievements so far have won over Nigerians, adding that attempts by the opposition to unseat him in 2027 would “collapse under the weight of their own contradictions.”
