Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, well known as Mr Eazi, and his wife, Temi Otedola-Ajibade, have revealed that they consulted nine doctors in different countries as they prepared for the birth of their first child.
Speaking on a recent episode of their podcast, the couple said the extensive consultations were driven by uncertainty over where they would eventually welcome their baby.
Explaining the decision, Mr Eazi said the couple wanted to explore various options before settling on a location for the birth.
“Why exactly do we see nine doctors? Nine doctors, to give you options, not just that, because we didn’t know where we were going to be. Which country? We didn’t know which country we were going to decide on. I wanted Japan,” he said.
Temi, however, disclosed that she was less enthusiastic about her husband’s fascination with Japan, particularly when it came to naming their child.

“He’s been looking at Japanese baby names, and I keep telling him, absolutely not,” she joked.

The couple announced in May that they were expecting their first child, revealing that they discovered the pregnancy while on their honeymoon in Asia.
Recalling the moment, Temi said she began experiencing unusual symptoms during their stay in Tokyo.
Mr Eazi and Temi began dating in 2017 and got engaged in April 2023.
The couple later tied the knot in a lavish three-part wedding ceremony held across Monaco, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Iceland.
The celebrations were said to have cost about $15 million.
